Gazing my different self in the mirror,
I can only see an anatomical difference.
The most objectified physical appearance.
That yet treats every being with reverence.
Gazing my different self in the mirror,
I can see a body not so indifferent.
With a mind which is the most resilient.
Of wrongs against it, the most ignorant.
Gazing my different self in the mirror,
I see a role I can’t justify with any ease.
For I failed many times as an opposite.
Overawe and adore myself is all I can do.
